SLOTTED PIPES
With our 3 multi-spindle slotting machines, we can slot pipes at a high production rate. Our machines have 43, 29, and 22 spindles spaced 6” apart. These machines are rugged and durable and are capable of keystone slots and conventional straight slots. Oil coolant is constantly applied on to the workpiece during the slotting process to maintain the metallurgical integrity of the pipe. The slots are created along the length of the pipe at 6” intervals. We use specially designed slitting saws that range from thickness 0.008” up to 0.250”. Length of slots vary from 1.5” to 2” on the inside. Each pipe is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before and after each slotting process. The pipes are completely deburred inside and out and the slots are gaged. To preserve the pipe until customer pick up a temporary anti-rust oil costing is applied. Straight slot is the original and most popular type of slot. Keystone slot has self cleaning capability as it enables sand that is clogging the slot to slip through. It is milled wider on the inside.

PRE-DRILLED PIPE AND WIRE WRAPPED SCREENS
With our large multi-spindle inline drill press we can manufacture pre-drilled liners and wire wrap screens at a very high production rate. This machine has 54 drills spaced 6” apart. It can pre-drill a full length of range 2 production tubing in one pass. Oil coolant is applied constantly on the pipe while it is being drilled, this preserves the metallurgical integrity of the pipe. We can drill round holes ranging in size from ¼” up to 1”. After pipe has been drilled, it is completely deburred inside and out and stored for customer pick up. We also install wire wrap stainless steel screens on pre-drilled or slotted base pipes. Our wire wrap is of the highest quality and the material is stainless steel AISI 304. Other grades of material are available upon request. Wire wrap liners come in size from OD 2-3/8” up to 13-3/8”. They have a continuous slot opening hence enable a higher inlet flow. The slot width is consistent and can be as small as 0.008”.
